Currency: All donations are processed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated on the donation page.
Refunds: Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe an error has been made in connection with your donation, please contact us immediately at finance@africanliteracyproject.org.
Tax Deductibility: ALP is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax receipts will be issued for all eligible contributions annually or upon request.
Recurring Donations: By setting up a recurring donation, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the specified interval until you cancel via your donor account or by contacting support.
Organizations, schools, and individuals partnering with ALP operate as independent entities. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and ALP unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
Partners must adhere to our ethical guidelines, anti-corruption policies, and child protection standards when engaged in ALP-related activities. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the partnership.
Schools applying for libraries or educational resources must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into our programs.
Selection is based on resource availability, specific needs criteria, and the applicant’s demonstrated ability to sustain the project. We reserve the right to decline any application at our sole discretion.
Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
